Kiosk is designed for large-scale biobanks, integrating sample storage, retrieval, tube picking, defragmentation, and temporary storage. Configurations accommodate from 260,000 to 3.4 million samples, depending on consumables and site requirements.
-80°C End-to-End Sample Automation
Kiosk maintains a consistent -80°C environment throughout storage, retrieval, tube picking, and transfer workflows. A gas-phase LN₂ transfer cart and integrated ultra-low-temperature automation minimize thermal exposure and help preserve sample integrity.
High-Density Sample Storage
An optimized storage structure increases sample density while reducing floor space requirements. Depending on the configuration and consumables, Kiosk supports up to 3.4 million vials in standard cryoboxes or SBS racks.
Automated Rack and Tube Handling
Automated tube picking is performed within a consistent -80°C environment to limit temperature fluctuations. Visual assistance monitors cryotubes and cryoboxes in real time, supporting accurate handling and continuous system operation.
Intelligent Workflow Management
Kiosk coordinates automated storage, retrieval, defragmentation, tube picking, and temporary storage through a unified workflow. A high-throughput buffer holds up to 34 racks and synchronizes inbound and outbound scheduling to maximize operating efficiency.
Full-Process Sample Traceability
Automatic sample verification helps prevent extra, missing, or misplaced tubes at the point of storage. Multi-level permissions, facial recognition, video monitoring, and exportable operation records provide a complete traceability chain throughout sample access.
Flexible, Scalable Configuration
System dimensions and storage capacity can be customized to match site layouts and throughput requirements. Kiosk supports standard cryoboxes, SBS racks, and multiple vial formats, with customized storage configurations.
