Ergonomic Sample Access
Automatic lid opening reduces manual effort and controls access to stored samples. On Premium models, rack positioning and lifting bring the target box to the opening, minimizing handling and exposure of non-target samples.
Uniform Temperature Distribution
The small-opening design minimizes temperature gradients within the tank and limits heat intrusion during access. It keeps the top rack temperature as low as -190°C, supporting consistent cryogenic protection across stored samples.
Real-Time LN₂ Monitoring
Temperature probes and liquid-level detectors continuously monitor the sample environment and LN₂ volume. The 13-inch touchscreen displays real-time temperature, liquid level, daily LN₂ consumption, and alarm information for immediate review.
Smart Alarm Management
Configurable alarms alert users to temperature, liquid-level, and time-limit exceptions. Personalized parameter settings and hierarchical permissions support controlled alarm management while enabling authorized users to respond appropriately.
Low LN₂ Consumption
Advanced vacuum insulation and the small-opening design reduce heat intrusion and LN₂ evaporation. The resulting low boil-off rate lowers routine consumption while extending static holding time if the external LN₂ supply is interrupted.
LIMS Integration Ready
Crest software is designed for seamless integration with laboratory information management systems. LIMS connectivity supports sample access instructions and task status updates, helping coordinate storage operations with existing laboratory workflows.
